Public Information Law and Advice

• Advice UK (was Federation of Independent Advice Centres). 'We are the main point of contact and provider of support services to over 900 independent (information and advice) agencies spread throughout the UK.' • Institute of Advisers "set up to be the professional body for values, standards and personal development for all advisers in the UK" seems to have disappeared (Jan 08).

• Law Centres Federation For community-based (or specialist) non-profit law centres.

• Institute of Money Advisers (was Money Advice Association) exists to give professional support to Money Advisers, provide a forum etc. There are membership fees.

• Fields in Trust changed name from National Playing Fields Association, May 07, as works to protect and improve recreation areas like kids playgrounds and leisure areas for older people, not just community playing fields.
