PACE – the network for charity chief executive assistants

PACE is a national independent, informal network of chief executive assistants from across the voluntary sector, which gives members an opportunity to share good practice, exchange information and support each other by email, and to meet other chief executive assistants for development days and networking sessions.

The network, which is free to join, was created in January 2005 and has grown to over 100 members from a diverse range of charities spread throughout the UK.  It focuses on the specialised aspects of the chief executive assistant role and the partnership with the chief executive including:

Network members feel empowered in the knowledge that they belong to a group of peers who meet similar challenges and issues in their specialised role, and value the ideas and discussion which are generated.  Plans for the future include recruitment, development of activities and creation of a mentoring scheme. 

PACE runs on a totally voluntary basis with no money.
